Celestial pearl danios, also known as the galaxy rasboras are one of the most popular fish in the hobby today. They stand out in any planted aquarium with their vivid coloration and shoaling behavior. They enjoy an aquarium environment filled with plants. They are smaller fish and can grow to a max size of about 3 4 inch which makes them perfect for a planted nano aquarium.
Like most Rasboras, we recommend keeping these guys in groups of 5 or more for them to feel safe in a large school. They will look especially stunning in a planted tank.
These fish are adult shrimp-safe, however, we recommend having sufficient plants or hiding spots for aquariums with both Celestial Pearl Danios and freshwater shrimp.
Celestial pearl danios are pretty easy to care of as long as they are introduced to a mature, cycled tank. They can acclimate to a wide range of parameters. The following are the water parameters we keep them at:

We feed them a mix of live baby brine shrimp, frozen daphnia and high-quality flake food.
